Version 8.12 will not Unlock

I was running our licensed version of 7.23. I downloaded and installed 8.12 and our UnlockKey no longer works. Version 7.23 is still installed. I am using VB6 with code below. Does Version 7.23 need to be removed? Is a new key required for 8.12? 
Dim oIsed As QuickPDFAX0812.PDFLibrary
Dim nRet as Long
Set oIsed = New QuickPDFAX0812.PDFLibrary
nRet = oIsed.UnlockKey("Our license is entered here")

nRet returns 0. Any assistance is appreciated.

	As QPL 8 is a major upgrade from QPL 7.xx then an upgrade and a new license key is required. http://www.quickpdflibrary.com/faq/upgrade-policy-for-quick-pdf-library.php There have been a lot of improvements and bug fixes to the library since the 7.23 version. 	What if you bought the "Single Developer License + Premium Upgrade Protection" in March of 2011 and it still doesn't unlock?

	Hi! Don't forget: This is a user-user-forum. If you don't have an unlimited regkey you should post to the official support pages. Your last posts here are from march and there you still used the testkey and the testkey is only for 30 days or so. I'm a bit confused what kind of customer you are ;-) Paying 9 month ago for a product and can't use it 'till now and told nothing ... very strange ;-) Cheers, Ingo

	Uh, I have a key when our company ordered in march, used the library 7.26 up to this point and now would like to up the dll to the current 8.13. What are you insinuating? Edited by smith288 - 09 Dec 11 at 10:42PM

	You didn't tell anything from 7.26 ... You told us that you can't unlock your QuickPDF ... nothing more. 	Yes you will need to contact sales to activate the Premium Upgrade Protection policy and you will be sent a new licence key for 8.xx which will also work for 7.xx versions of QPL. Andrew.
