okay so the program we have uses quick pdf 7.26 (paid).
for the most part we dont have any issues. but occasionally a customer who uses our program reports pdfs coming out unreadable and blank. strangely. if that pdf is sent to somebody who doesnt have the problem.... and they "save it" in adobe or another pdf reader... it fixes whatever the problem is. was this a known issue that was fixed in later versions ? i cant reproduce it at my workstations at all.

Hi,
you'll get problems more and more. The lib-version starting from 10.xx supports higher encryption standards and unicode handling is better. I think the described issue will be an issue of older versions processing newer pdf-documents ;-) You should move to a new version of the lib. Cheers and welcome here, |

any reason that it only occurs on a subset of machines? should be a repeatable bug.

it should be noted that the pdfs made by our program come from the same files. so the only thing that changes is the machine its on.
