Inserted text is not displayed in Adobe

   This are my first steps with the QuickPDF Library.

I use the SetFormFieldValueByTitle() function in VB6 to insert text in text fields (Fieldtype 1).
The inserted text is not displayed in Adobe Reader.

I just load the pdf-document with LoadFromFile(fileName, ""), fill in the fields with SetFormFieldValueByTitle() and save a new file with SaveToFile.

Opera Internet Browser shows the inserted text, why Adobe not?

Thanks in advance for a hint.

	Hi Ingo, Thank you for your answer. I tried the function - with no success. But that's not my biggest problem. The PDF form that I populate with text also has two signature fields (Fieldtype 6). It looks like all properties of a signature in the signature fields have been lost in the new file (saved with SaveToFile). Is there a possibility to save the signature fields unchanged? Greetings

	Please read 3.2.12 in the developer guide "Processing digitally signed PDF files". Perhaps this will help. Regarding your issue: "It doesn't work" isn't a really detailed answer ;-) Where's the sample pdf? You can upload it anywhere on a free file hoster or on your website and post the link in the forum... Where's the relevant code snippet from your development? Edited by Ingo - 30 Nov 20 at 8:08PM

A signature can be entered in the signature fields. Perfect PDF 9 (Soft Xpansion) The inserted text is displayed. But a signature cannot be entered in the signature fields. If you try to enter the signature, this message comes up: This form field (signature) still has to be filled out. All i want is:The inserted text should always be displayed and the signature fields should remain untouched. The document should - in practice - be read and signed on a tablet.
