Hi,
In our application, when we write out text font as Helvetica, it looks the library does it, it show text font is Helvetica in the pdf file. But in PDF viewer, when I check through document properties, the Helvetica's actual font is Arial. What should I do to make the actual font is Helvetica not Arial. Our user complained it. Thanks, Dezhi Fan in the pdf file: 7 0 obj << /Type /Font /Subtype /Type1 /BaseFont /Helvetica /Encoding /WinAnsiEncoding >>
n the viewer: document properties--->font--->Helvetica: actual font:Arial

Hi,
i've tried the windows editor Notepad (with windows 10) choosing the fonts inside. There isn't any Helvetica font but Arial with several versions. So i think it's similar to browser behavior: If there isn't the font from the definition a very similar font will be used. If you want to be sure that the viewer will use the font from your definition you have to embed it inside your pdf. QuickPDF offers functionalities to do this. |

Cheers,
