Hi,

I have two PDF files, when I render them using DEBENU API: QP.RenderPageToFile(50,1,0,"pdfimage.bmp"); , it creates empty BMP file, with out any picture in it. They are single paged PDF files, and its size:17 MB, 19 MB respectively.
When it is rendered with DPI Value=100, it generates blank white image with dimension: 5284 x 3311, and its bitmap depth is : 24.

Same PDF file, when it is viewed using Adobe Reader, it displays the picture with good quality.

Are there any alternative ways, to get picture using DEBENU API.

I am using DEBENU 12.11 version, and the tool is integrated with WIN32 API and C++.

Regards

Hi,

if the dimensions are as large as described i would try a another image-format to save storage.
Please read here about gdi+ and other render engines (is gdi+ on your system?):
http://www.debenu.com/docs/pdf_library_reference/RenderPageToFile.php

Here is a "how to" from the Debenu-kb:
http://www.debenu.com/kb/use-rendering-printing-add-debenu-quick-pdf-library/
Here is a render sample with scaling (good if you have large images as described):
http://www.debenu.com/kb/render-a-pdf-as-an-image-with-an-asymmetrical-dpi/
This isn't exactly for your problem but it will help, too:
http://www.debenu.com/kb/programmatically-render-pdf-files-in-windows-forms-with-net-and-c/

You should check always the returning values from the functions to determine where's the problem.
Good luck ;-)

BTW: I've got this all from the debenu support pages - you should be able to do this by your own ;-)

Cheers,
Ingo
