Hi,

I am using QPLib.SetXFAFormFieldValue to change the form field values for few fields in my PDF file and then saving it as a new PDF file. It is correctly setting the value but when I open the changed PDF file in adobe reader, it does not allow me to change any field values any more. why does this happen? how can I change the values using Quick PDF library but still retain the normal editable mode by other PDF readers etc?

Ingo,

Thank you so much and really appreciate the quick reply. Your post was very informative and thanks again for sharing the knowledge. You blog looks very interesting and I am going to look more into it now.

Have you finished the tool that you were talking about in your post, which can be used for purpose like this? Is there any other alternate way to programatically change form fields while still keeping Adobe editing functionality? perhaps Adobe supplied & paid SDK? I cannot use the normal Plugin SDK because the processing has to happen on a web server. Do you also do any Adobe Plugin Development?

Thanks
Shreedhar
