Hello,

I have 8.16 installed and just installed v9.11 and was trying to run the demo app for 9.11 but keep getting the Windows send error report screen stating QuickPDFHelp encountered a problem and needs to close. Has anyone else encounter this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

Thanks in advance

Hi!

I don't know if this will solve your prob
but first i would uninstall the 8.16-version
completely and then i would try to install and
use the 9.11-version...

Cheers, Ingo

I got the same problem with an exception in the 9.11 demo application on trying to open the PDF documentation.  You have two choices: (a) just go to the install folders and open the PDF manually; (b) install the 9.12 beta instead in which the problem is fixed.

Thanks for the responses but the problem still exist. The actions I took was uninstalling everything and going into the Registry and deleting all entries relating to Debenu and QuickPDF. Once this was done I then reinstalled 9.11 but was still unable to launch the Demo. At this point I am just going to let it go as is but if someone does come across this issue and you are able to resolve it please let me know.

Thanks

tfrost told you that this issue should be solved with version 9.12.
Did you try it?
