PDF size to big compared with base PDF

   I'm creating a new document with an existing document: I take page x from the existing document and use CopyPageRanges in the newly created document twice than I add a new page where I draw some Text, Boxes and an image. Repeat until i've run trough the existing document. The problem is that the size of the new document is over 20 MB for 420 pages when the original document was only 700 KB for 130 pages. I do use the CompressFonts and CompressContent but the difference is only of 1MB (21 Mb if not using Compress). Is there  something I haven't done or a better way to do this where the size of the resulting document wouldn't be so big?

	Compress works only on the things you're inserting - not on the existing content. Posts like yours aren't seldom here. To be honest: QuickPDF is one of the extensively pdf sdk and easy to use but it's not my favourite for creating slimline-documents ;-) Cheers and welcome here, Ingo
