Hi,
I was wondering what the forum thinks about the new developments with a company (Debenu) purchasing the iSed code?
I was looking forward to the new support company (Colden Group), but with this new development I am unclear about its (Colden) ability to distribute any code whatsever (without violating copyright).   This is especially sensitive for us since we have the code in a commercial product - hence would not like to use potentially illegal content (from Colden).  I have also not seen any new code from Debenu - so am not sure they will produce the goods, except that they seem to be a legit company.
I see no problem though with continuing sharing fixes to the original iSED, as that falls well under any copyright threshold (I think it is 10%-30%?).

Interested to hear from others - especially commercial companies that use QuickPDF.
Thanks
Brett

Thanks for your note Brett -- just a point of clarification, a) we will be selling the source code for the next release of iSEDQuickPDF (beta version now available at http://www.quickpdflibrary.com/blog/2009/02/quick-pdf-library-712-public-beta-released, and b) we are currently in (positive) discussions with The Colden Group.

I doubt you have anything to worry about...

Hi Brett!

It's like Karl mentioned already ...
I don't want to add something more now ...
I think i can post a final statement in case of the future of QuickPDF here soon.

Cheers, Ingo
