How can I determine if a PDF is Fillable/Interactive?
When I call SecurityInfo with the parameter set to 7, Form Field Fill-in or Signing, it returns a 6 for forms whose text cannot be changed and appear in Acrobat Reader without the message "This file includes Fillable Form Fields." It even returns 6 for image only PDFs. What method in QuickPDF Library can I use to get the property of the PDF is Acrobat Reader using to know whether or not to display the "This file includes Fillable Form Fields."? Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom,
you can use function FormFieldCount. It returns the total number of formfields in a selected document. So if the returning value is higher than 0 you know that the document is interactive with fillable formfields. Please have a look here: http://www.debenu.com/docs/pdf_library_reference/FormFields.php Cheers, Ingo |
