    Posted: 14 Sep 10 at 9:22AM

Hi all

I want to make security for a PDF with

Printing --> Allowed

Document Assembly --> Not Allowed

Content Copying --> Allowed

Content Copying for Accessibility --> Allowed

Page Extraction --> Not allowed

Commenting --> Not Allowed

Filling of forms --> Allowed

Signing --> Not Allowed

Creation of Template Pages --> Now Allowed

but the Allow and not allow of Filling and Signing is working only with together.

Please help as soon as possible

Thanks & Regards

Suresh

Hi Suresh!

It's like it is ...
So you can separate these things.
Please keep in mind: If you're doing all these security-settings and then choose 40-bit-encryption... This doesn't work, too ;-)   'cause few settings are only available with 128-bit-encryption.

Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo

Hi!

"Is there any option in Adobe Acrobat..."
Try it then you'll know ;-)
For me it's too expensive :-(

Cheers, Ingo

It's a user-user-forum for QuickPDF here not one for Adobe ;-)

As Ingo mentioned, The Fill Form Fields encryption option is 128 bit only in QuickPDF.  40 bit will fail.

As far as Adobe, the Fill Form Fields option is linked with Signing and, AFAIK, cannot be separated.
