Hi again,

I need to get page information for (scanned) pdf file like:
pagetype: tiff, jpeg etc.
colour: BW or colour
resolution: in DPI
compression: compression used for the page

but as I open my file with:
       qp.LoadFromFile(CurrentFilename)
when I call:
      qp.ImageHorizontalResolution
or
       qp.ImageResolutionUnits

it returns always a 0.

How can I achieve this?? Any help is appreciated (vb, C#)

Thanks in advance

Sly

Hi!

As far as i know the first three properties are image-relevant and you can get them only searching directly into the code. That's possible... first unencrypt and save with QuickPDF and then looking with the your programming language. A decrypted pdf is nearly ascii - so looking inside is possible.
Please read the thread "he first steps..." in the "General section"...

Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo

Thank you, but I found a way using findImages then selecting the image and then accessing to imagetype etc.

But I'm experiencing another problem during extraction. I'll open a new post about this.

thanks
