I'm using DARenderPageToFile() to save TIFF images from a loaded PDF. The problem is that specifying the DPI value is just causing the image to be scaled (so that it includes the correct number of pixels) instead of scaling the image AND setting the internal TIFF DPI tags. For example, if I render an 8.5"x11.0" PDF at 300 DPI, I get an image with dimensions of 2550x3300 (which is correct) but the TIFF X/Y DPI tags are ALWAYS set to 96 (instead of whatever you specify for the rendering.)
Alternatively, I tried saving a JPEG file and saw the same problem except that the DPI values were then always set to 72 DPI.
Is there a way to make QuickPDF set the DPI values in the output images to the value used for rendering?

Hi!
Like you has written ... It's just a scaling. The real dpi-value of the image won't be changed. QuickPDF is for pdf - not for images ... It works like designed ;-) Cheers, Ingo |
