I have mastered the art of creating my PDF but I cannot display it.

My development language is Microsoft VB 6.

Trying to use the Adobe DLL crashes the system.

Do you have a function in your library that will do this?

Thank you.

Hi Murray,

if your pdf-creation was successfully you can check with QuickPDF.
You only have to load the pdf with LoadFromFile and the returning value tells you if it's okay ;-)
You can Show your pdf-pages using the render-functions inside QuickPDF.
Additionally there's a new pdf-viewer-sdk from Debenu based on QuickPDF.

Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo

Thanks Ingo.

I do know about the functions you referenced but they don't quite fill the bill. I want to display the PDF, allow the user to interact with it and then capture the interactions. (My software completes government forms).

I am a brand-new user who purchased the library a couple of weeks ago. I don't recall any mention of an SDK. I'll try to find it on your site.

So you wanna build a pdf-editor.
Really heavy stuff.
How long are you developing with pdf... 5 years... 10 years?
You won't get success with QuickPDF creating a real pdf-editor.
QuickPDF is worth each dollar and more of its price but it's still a low cost product and your requirements are too much for it.
Perhaps it's possible but not only with QuickPDF. A lot of own development would be necessary.

Murray, when you say you want the user to interact with the pdf, how do you mean? filling fields etc or more?
