Hi,
Using 8.16 from C# I've noticed that for some PDFs calling RenderPageToString or RenderPageToFile renders a representation of the original document but with the font changed to what looks like Calibri. Inspecting the document using GetPageText(4) shows that the fonts are correctly identified as "TimesNewRomanPSMT". Any ideas how to fix this so that I get an accurate rendering of the original document? Is it possible it can't find the TimesNewRomanPSMT font so defaults to Calibri? If so is there a way I can add this font or change the default font to Times New Roman or similar? Many thanks, Steve |

Is the TimeNewRomanPSMT font installed on your PC ? If not then the renderer and any PDF viewer for that matter has to find a font to substitute. The substitution process is not defined in the PDF spec. You would need to create a new case at http://www.quickpdflibrary.com/support/support-query.php and then send the file for us to see exactly what is going on and what options are available. Andrew.
