Textcontent of a pdf-document is stored in the document like it's inserted in the document. Imagine that you've created a few pages. All text you can find in the pdf know: Line1, line2, line ...
Now you read it over to control the content and you see that there's a missing "v" in Ealuation. You change the document now... The "v" is the last letter inserted - so it's the last content, too. It has detailed positions - so the reader knows later where this "v" shall be displayed.
To say it short: First in - first out ;-)

But please tell me, why it occurs only on Italic Fonts ?
