I am new to PDF development and QuickPDf so please bear with me.

There are 3 things I needed from QuickPdf;

1. Silent printing of a PDF.

2. Silent Faxing of PDF to MS Fax Server

3. Modification of a PDF based on function results.

Platform being used is VB.Net 2005 with the COM Dll.

I have successfully completed 1 and 2, but need advice on the best way to go regarding item 3.

The scenario is;

A series of questions (5 in total) are answered via a windows form, using check boxes, radio buttons etc. At the end of the process I need to generate a pdf which basically is always the same except for a few minor changes to the text and a couple of very small images.

Directly filling in PDF form fields by the user is not an option.

The main text of the document must be able to be edited by the client.

I have briefly looked at the possibility of generating the pdf on the fly every time using code, but this seems to be a lot of work and resource intensive.

It would seem more appropriate to be able to load the base pdf and make the few changes required (if any) at that point.

Is there an easy way to replace one image for another (same size, etc.) and /or a couple of words.

How would you guys tackle it?

All sugestions, help, pity, gratefully received.

Many thanks.
