I am using AddUnicodeFont to add Arabic text to my PDF, but it currently does not support the embedding of font file, because of which it cannot be viewed in all applications.

I tried using AddUnicodeFontFromFile but it has the same issue.

Is there any other way to embed unicode font to the PDF? Also, is there an ETA as to when embedding will be supported in the above mentioned APIs?

Hi Sakshi,

I think you've read it already in the online reference...
AddUnicodeFont is still in an experimental status - so don't expect too much ;-)
AddUnicodeFont allows to to use any glyph from an installed unicode-font on your system.
The embed-option is still not supported.

With AddUnicodeFontFromFile it's the same the real embedding (to make the pdf portable) isn't supported yet.
No... Sorry but here in the USER-forum we don't know how long you have to wait for this option.
