Hi,
just a short "beginner's question": Using Delphi 10.3 I have a scanned sheet (so it's a picture in the pdf) and want to add some text (like filling a scanned formular). I it possible? Am I right that my application needs to add another layer to the document (if yes, how)?
Thx a lot for information (and sorry for wasting your time...),
greetings from Germany
Herbert

Hi Herbert,

you don't need a special content stream (formerly known as layer)
if there's no need to remove the content/text later.
If you want to remove later you should read here:
http://www.quickpdf.org/forum/add-text-content-and-remove-later_topic2991.html

Here's a sample in Delphi and vb about drawing page numbers on pdf pages.
This should give you an idea how to use the drawing functionality:
http://www.quickpdf.org/forum/drawing-page-numbers-onto-pdf-document_topic2494.html

I think you'll already know where to find the online reference, samples, kb-documents and developer-guide...

Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo
