Quick PDF Library v 16.x

What functions are available to search for a specific string of text within a multi-page PDF. The KB and

Referenced guide do not seem to have any find text although it shows extract text from a whole page or block.

It rather depends on why you want to find the text. I have an application which simply needs to extract some information from the first page to know how to process it. The simplest and quickest solution for me is to extract all the text on the page and run a couple of regular expression searches over it to find what I need. But if you wanted to know the precise position of the text you are looking for, so that you can highlight or modify it, the approach would need to be different.  But in principle the library will give you the text that can be identified as text, and it is up to you to process it.

Hi,

do a loop page by page and use the options with csv-extraction and "word by word".
So you'll have the page and rectangle position.

Cheers and welcome here,
