Subject: Embedding Ariel Narrow font and preview on chrome

Hello,

I am generating a PDF with Ariel Narrow font embedded.
When I preview the PDF in Google Chrome the Ariel Narrow font is replaced by another font which creates a bad view experience (text is not aligned in the table etc.)

Is there a way to fix this issue? Make the preview look the same with Ariel Narrow font?

Thanks,
Hezi

Hi Hezi,

a webbrowser isn't a real pdf-reader.
I think Google Chrome can't use the embedded fonts inside a pdf.
If there isn't an installed font Arial Narrow on the system the browser will use a similar font.
How is the result using another browser like Firefox or Safari for example?

I think i'm right... it could be Google Chrome.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

It's not the wrong font installed, I already searched and saw that post.

The thing is that I do have Arial Narrow font installed and still the browser shows in a different font.

Edge looks ok, Safari and Firefox are less relevant...

"...Edge looks ok..."

So i think it's more a problem of Chrome and not QuickPDF ;-)
