I have a PDF with 4 fonts embedded (the source).

create a DebenuPDF and load the PDF.
create a new document and select it (the target).
copy page 1 of the source PDF to the target.
call FindFonts (on the target) and it finds 4.
add any other fonts I need.
write to the target
save the target

it doesn't contain any of the fonts found with FindFonts.

Any ideas?

Hi,

how did you check that the 4 fonts are not embedded?
Can you upload the pdf anywhere to let us check ourself what's going on with this pdf?

I checked by viewing the properties in Adobe Acrobat.

I'll see about uploading a version.

Seems that the embedded ttf is anywhere inside the pdf and referenced to each page?
And on your first page is now only the reference but not the ttf itself?

We have another solution to what we were trying to do - I'll see if I can come back to this later.
