I'm looking for a way to check if an existing PDF file matches the PDFA format

Hi Stefan,

a short look into the online reference guide and i've found this:
CheckFileCompliance
Another way is to read the complete pdf-source (without QuickPDF) into a string and search for "pdfaid" or "/pdfaid:" ...

Hi,

i found this CheckFileCompliance, but i see in documentation

"This function is currently under development and currently runs only a small subset of possible tests. It should not be used in real world applications."

and with a correct PDF-A file it gives me a result > 0 (wrong PDF-A) back!

Ciao
Stefan

CheckFileCompliance is under development 'cause actual only pdf/a-check is implemented.
Further things will come...
Are you sure that the pdf/a-file wasn't modified?
