Hello,

I am using the older quickpdf 7.24 and getting problems with assembly-graphics with light grey fills.
They show and print black.
Any suggestion how to solve the problem?

Regards

Hans-Peter

Hi Hans-Peter,

please try it with the actual version 13.12 to avoid thinking about issues from the past ;-)
BTW: Without details the solution for your prob is like looking into a glass bowl.
Few image-samples and code snippets are better to evaluate the prob.
There are free host-services to temporary publish such files for us.

Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo

Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion.
I found the reason for the problem.
It turns out that the PDF was a 1.5 version.
Converting it to 1.4 solved the problem.

Newer versions of QuickPDF don't have problems with newer pdf-specs as represented by versions like 1.5, 1.6 or 1.7 for example.
It can't be a solution converting all pdf-files back to version 1.4.
How you want detect in an automatic way that a pdf has a color prob?
Convrting isn't a solution.
You should give us a try to check it out like i've described.
