A problem was reported to a statement program we put out on beta to several customers.

The program has a bmp of about 138 kb and totals out at about 180,000 for the whole pdf.

This is true for Windows XP and Windows 2008 64 bit server with 8 gig of ram

On my primary workstation of Windows 7 64 bit 1 terabit hard drive the exact same programs produce the exact same customer using the exact same dataset a pdf of 29 meg.

This pattern held true to an entire statement run of 12,115 statements.

Please help.

We used the 32bit Debenu dll.

On the Windows 7 64 bit computer, the PDF was 48 meg IF I embedded fonts. Without embedding it was around 110 kb. We only use Standard fonts (like arial) so it shouldn't be a problem.

It seems to me that you're EMBEDDING the fonts on EACH page?
If you're using exotic fonts you should embedd them... but only once.
Arial should be on most systems - so a reference should be enough without additional bytes on the pdf.

You are right. It was program logic error. I was embedding over and over again instead of once per font per pdf.

Thanks for figuring it out what it had to be.
