When I try to open some PDFs, I get the message "Object label badly formatted."

Is there any way to determine the problem with the PDF and fix it or prevent it from being opened?

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom,

did you insert this "Object label badly formatted" into Google?
I did:

http:// and many more ...
A solutions seems hard to find ...

Ingo,

Yes, I looked at a lot of articles on Google and couldn't find any that were helpful.  Illustrator was about the only common denominator.

I was hoping there was a method in the Quick PDF Library that would let me know if there was a problem with the PDF.

Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom,

there isn't a method for this in Adobe products and so you won't find anything in the QuickPDF-library.
If you get the message then the file is corrupted. Perhaps some temporarely system problems while save process? Perhaps ...?

QuickPDF can detect for you if there's a problem with a pdf-file.
Try LoadFromFile and check the returning integer value.
Another option ist using LastErrorCode directly after LoadFromFile.
