Hello,

I am currently developing an application and iSEDQuickPDF seems to be the best choice when handling PDF-Documents.

However, there is very few help in the documentation.

My question is: Is iSEDQuickPDF capable of signing PDF-Documents? If yes, how? Maybe someone has some sample-sourcecode?

Thanks in advance,
Hans

Hi,

we use the Aloaha PDF Suite Signature SDK. Have a look at http://www.aloaha.com/software-development/signature-code.php - http://www.aloaha.com/software-development/signature-code.php

You probably meant "we develop and sell it", don't you? Since you work for Aloaha...

Hello!

Our company tried several PDF signing solutions, including Aloaha and Eldos components. Although it was very difficult for us to decide whose components to use, we chose Eldos in the end because we needed support of certification signatures, and an ability to perform an external timestamping of the created signatures. Actually, we haven't found any other solution that provides PDF certification functions.

Shilling

I would stay away from these guys - they spam virtually all the PDF sites I visit, changing their user name constantly.

They also provide a product to save data using Adobe Reader locally, which is illegal according to Adobe's EULA.

Hi,

after asking Google I was refered to planetpdf/nitro. So I guess chicks has a hidden agenda here.

Regarding Adobes EULA please note that

a) it depends on the Reader Version and
b) that might apply for US - Europe is till a place of freedom!

Kind Regards
Greens

P.S.: Please Forumowner - why dont you enable the displaying of IP Numbers of the poster. Maybe that would force ppl to use this forum more responsible!

Like I said, these guys change their user name constantly - first "engst03", now "green", tomorrow something else. Their spam is all over the PlanetPDF and iText forums, among others.

Adobe's EULA applies in Europe, as well as the US.

Hi there Green,
