I hope anyone can help.
I have a bunch of pdf file (like about 2000) that I want to search for a few keyword. All the PDFs are searchable (OCR) and I created one index file that I can search now.

So here is what I want to do:
I want a script or program to search my index file for lets say the keyword "bike" and then extract me every page the keyword is found and merge those pages into 1 pdf document. But on every ectracted page, there has to be the path, where the extracted page comes from. From which document is has been extracted.

Is that possible in any way?
Thank you so much!
Best

Hi Bambooo,

with the library you can extract single pages from a pdf
and it's possible to merge These single-page-pdf-files to a new one.
With the drawing functions you can insert the complete path on each page.
Yes. That's possible with the library ;-)
An additonal hint:
You can do this all without an index-file, too 'cause the library offers
extract-functionalities as well.
The libary offers functions to tell the pdf on which page to open - so
if you know on which page the matching string is ...

Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo

Hi Ingo,

wow! Thank you so much for your answer and the welcome! I would never have expected to receive a positive responses in such a short time. Awesome.

Do you think it also would be possible to highlight all the found keywords on every page before exporting the page?

Shame on me -  I was searching for so long for an answer to my probem, that I just posted my question in this forum, but I do not know how to use the library - I am really just a frustrated user with no programming skills. I am not familiar with quickpdf yet.
Do you maybe have a little tutorial on how to manage this task? Or a contact on someone who can help me?

And thank you SO much for your answer! Really appreciate that!
Best
Marvin
