I have an application that uses QuickPDF. I have deployed it to one user who has Adobe Acrobat 6.0 (old) and the latest Acrobat Reader installed. My application does not work like it's supposed to, though it's difficult to describe the problem since I use your component in conjunction with another.

Anyway, I had her try and run the Debenu Quick PDF Library 10.14 Dashboard (3.10) program and that crashes with no meaningful error message (Windows has encountered a problem...) I made sure the DLLs in \Program Files (x86)\Debenu\PDF Library\Demo went with it.

How do I go about figuring out what's wrong? I don't need to deploy anything with my application, do I?

Hello,

When you deploy your application the only thing you need to deploy from the library is the binary file (the DLL, ActiveX, etc) for the edition of Debenu Quick PDF Library that you're installing.

If the Demo program is crashing it's because .NET 2.0 or higher is not installed. Our library does not require .NET but the Demo does.

Which edition of Debenu Quick PDF Library are you using? DLL edition?

- Rowan.

I am using version 10.14, but I don't know anything about a DLL. I'm using Delphi XE5 and I thought it was all wrapped up in the VCL.

Deploy these files in your application folder:

DebenuPDFLibraryDLL1014.dll
DebenuPDFRendererDLL1014.dll

The second file is necessary only if you use the debenu renderer (GDI+ is the default)
