Hello,
i need to insert an image into a PDF using coordinates specified in PDF points.
I don't know what are PDF points and how to convert them to pixel.
How can i do?
Thank You.

Hi Alessandro,

a PDF-File describes positions and sizes in points. A point is inch/72. On the other hand for images is pixel the unit for measurement. But there ist a bridge between points and pixels, called dpi = dots per inch. Take dots as another word for pixel.

Now it depends from the things, you want to do with the pdf. For print typically a dpi of 300 or more is used to get usable prints. On screen the value may be more less.

Cheers,
Werner
