I am opening a PDF in Adobe format. Is there a way to do a conversion from the Adobe format to PDF/A?

No. You can determine that a pdf shall get the tag "PDF/A".

But the things to do to get a correct PDF/A you have to do by your own.

I think PDF/A-conversion is deluxe functionality ;-)

Don't forget the low cost price of this wonderful library ;-)

QPL does not have a function to convert any PDF document to PDF/a as it is quite a complex process to get correct.
