Can I parse a specific piece of (delimited) text from a PDF ...a vbscript example would be great?

Hi Collin!

Yes. That's possible 'cause with QP you can extract pdf-text page by page (the first option for limitation: the page). With further options you're able to extract the textstrings with position data. So it's possible for you to search text in a special area on a page.

Sorry but i don't have a vbscript-sample available.

Cheers Ingo...will give this a go...My app requires that pdf files(generated by third party application) be renamed based on content so that a downstream process can selectively retrieve documents
