Hi!

I am using the DLL version from C++ here.

Pretty much as the subject says; the same code in 64 bit produces a PDF that's approximately four times the size as one in 32 bit.

E.g. a PDF produced with the 32 bit DLL is 197KB, whereas one produced by the 64 bit version is 809KB. Nothing else has changed besides the switch from 32 to 64 bit, and the finished PDFs look identical in a viewer.

Is this a known issue?

Hi Ingo,

I have been looking into this further and discovered that I misdiagnosed the issue. The actual problem seems to be that an embedded TrueType font was not installed on the 64 bit machine, and this was responsible for the blow-out in file size.

It seems odd that this would increase the file size so dramatically but at least it was easy to fix by installing the font!
