Hi,
I have been experimenting with iSED and managed to create a PDF file with a few Text styled Form Fields in it.
I can save it ok and then I can open it in Adobe Reader (V7) OK.
However, Adobe then says at that "The data typed into this form will not be saved"
Can anyone please suggest a way to save the entered data as well.
I was hoping this solution would allow me to send an empty PDF form via email then have the recipient send it back completed an then I would be able to retrieve the data out of it.
Am I on the wrong track?
Thanx in advance.
Mark

Hi Mark,
this happens with every pdf-file. The reader normally can't save form-field-content. You can buy special tools which can do this... or you can develope something yourself ;-)
QuickPDF don't offer functionality to do this... No other library offers this functionality.

Thanx Ingo,
I was afraid of that.
I can't believe it. I was not able to find a single
freeware PDF Filler program on the net.
Surely it cannot be THAT difficult?
How can you send a PDF form to your clients to fill out and then expect them to cough up for a Filler program?
Oh well, now another project on the burner. ;-)
Cheers,
Mark
