I have a laboratorysystem creating PDF files. In addition to sending the PDF's with e-mails, the system prints a hardcopy. After adding NeeviaPDF to sign visually, the printing using LoadFromFile() and PrintDocument() gives blank pages. If I open the PDF with Acrobat, printing is OK.

Hi!

A relevant code-snippet would be good ;-)

Cheers, Ingo

What is the return values from the LoadFromFile call ?  1 or 2.  If it is 2 then the PDF could be malformed or password protected.

What version of QuickPDF?  I have seen PDFs rendered with blank pages in 7.24 which are OK using 7.26.

If a document is malfored and returns 2 from LoadFromFile() it will then print a blank page as there is actually no document loaded to even be printed.

We are trying to include fixes for these malformed documents when we find them but this is not always easy.   There are PDF's out there that contain spelling errors, invalid xref tables, missing keys etc.   Unfortunately, Adode Acrobat opens these files so everyone expects every other PDF library should be able to open the same files.  Adobe have hundreds of programmers and sell their tools for many thousands of dollars.
