We need to merge eps images into a pdf file. What is the easiest way to do this. The designers we work with want to do this so that they can create transparent vector files.

Hi!

You need something like DrawImage from here:
http://www.quickpdflibrary.com/help/quickpdf/ImageHandling.php
I didn't see anything in the reference guide about the image types in this case.
The other way round (pdf to image) the rendering functions allow eps but regarding from image to pdf i don't know. Try DrawImage and tell us if it works.
