While printing a PDF that shows up fine in Acrobat Reader 8.1.2 and 9.3.1, it has transparent text that looks fine on screen but prints all black through the library.  If I print from Adobe Reader (either version) it is correct.
I'm not seeing any settings that would modify this.  Is this a bug that needs to be resolved?

Hi Corecomps!

You should send your code part together with the pdf-sample to the official support pages. There's an upload-functionality, too.

Cheers, Ingo

Sorry this took so long.  It's been a while and I haven't heard back from support after my first set of e-mails.  Can  someone confirm they got this project?

http://corecomps.com/QuickPDFSample.zip - http://corecomps.com/QuickPDFSample.zip

This project is in .Net and uses the activex componet

type good.pdf to have it print good
type bad.pdf to have it print bad

The difference is inside the PDF itself.

The key is that the bad.pdf has a real Adobe Spec Watermark on it.  The other is a opaque layer of text but NOT a true watermark.

I believe the issue is with bad flattening of watermark layers.

The bad printout occurs even in CutePDF writer or on every printer I try with this bad.pdf file.

Hi!

This here is the user-user-forum.
If the official support team shall get your sample
you should upload it there.

BTW: I've got an email from the team that they are
still working on this case ... it's not an easy one ;-)

Cheers, Ingo
