Good day,

I have used the ReplaceTag() function several times but only with PDF documents created with QuickPDF.
I tried to use it in several other PDF documents without success... Is this the case or i am missing something.

***Bonus question***
When using ReplaceTag() , is there a way to preserve the alignment of the text replaced? Probably the answer is no, but i just thought i'd ask :p

Hi!

Perhaps this has to do with encryption?
What about the returning value? Is it zero or what?

Hi Ingo!

The files i tried were not encrypted.
Also the function returned 0, which is "the number of times the text was replaced"

...so the things you wanna replace aren't real "tags"?
I didn't know this function before your post but i can't imagine that it's for replacing textcontent.
If so it would be wonderful ;-)

Well actually it DOES replace text and it is pretty convenient.
But unfortunately it works only in documents created using QPDF.
