Hello,
I've a question with regards to Merging Document.

If my source document has 3 pages and I'm merging a new document that that 2 pages, how the order of the pages going to be when the new document is merged with my source document?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi!

The order is 3 + 2 ;-)
You're selecting your first document and keep the document-id.
Then you load the second document and do the merge with the id from the first document and so the first document will be appended at the second document.

Cheers, Ingo

Would this be correct  if say source document has page 1,2,3 and new document has 3 and 4, then the merge document would be 1,2,3,3,4

Thanks.

Hi!
If you try it then you know it.
After the merge you have a new doc which begins with all pages from doc1 and ends with all pages from doc2.
I think this is a joke... Isn't it?
Cheers, ngo

Hi Yadutt,

I'm not sure what you mean by the "New document" having pages "3 and 4". (?)

I concur with Ingo. If Doc 1 has 3 pages, and Doc 2 has 2 more pages, then you can merge them together in order to have 5 pagess (Doc1 + Doc2).

   Cheers!

Thank you gentlemen for you assistance. I figured it out.

I guess the confusion was that I didn't explain the scenario well.

Thank you.
