Hi, I am evaluating QuickPDF.

My PDF's will be TIFF images that are converted to PDF's

I have been able to use the "AddNoteAnnotation" to add what I would call Sticky Note type annotations to a PDF.

I was looking to add a TextBox Type Annotation.
Note I do not want to use the DrawTextBox to write text into a PDF.

Am I correct that QuickPDF does not support this type of annotation.

If not, are there any plans to support such in the near future?

Thanks.

Hi Mikes!

This here is the user-user-forum.
If you have questions about future developement you should post them at Debenu here:
http://www.quickpdflibrary.com/support/feature-request.php

Why you don't want to use DrawTextBox? You can put it on a new layer ... so later remove isn't a problem...

Cheers, Ingo

Thanks for the quick reply.
I do not have much experience in making PDF's.
I do not have, have never used Acrobat.

I did not want to use DrawTextBox as I was assuming that would not appear as a "normal" PDF comment.

I need the Comment to be editable should the PDF be opened in Acrobat.
I want it show up under the comment list in Adobe Reader

I'm wondering what you wanna do without experience ;-)

QuickPDF offers functionality to build "something like" the comment-functionality.
Take a new layer and a textbox or a formfield, read the reference, ...

Cheers and good luck,
Ingo
