Hello,

I was wondering ... is there a way to specify Pantone colors with the Quick PDF Library.  I was about to finish a project when I found out that I cannot use a CMYK representation of a Pantone color ... I must get the Pantone callout into the PDF itself (for catalog printing reasons).

Up until now, I have been creating the graphic fill color directly in Postscript using this:

1.00 0.06 0.00 0.34 (PANTONE 307 CVC) 0.9
/tint exch def
findcmykcustomcolor
true setoverprint
tint 1 exch sub setcustomcolor

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might be able to do? Or is it a lost cause?

Thank you in advance for any comments ...
Jerry

Never mind ... since Pantone is a 6 color system as opposed to 3 colors for RGB and 4 colors for CMYK ... I'm assuming that the colorspace in the current Quick PDF Library wouldn't handle it anyway.  So, for this particular project, I'll just stick with Postscript.

Thanks anyway,
Jerry
