Hi everyone

I am really new to the programme so please forgive my silly question.

I am working on a VB.net platform. How to create pdf from excel files?

Hi!

For this there's no need to use QuickPDF.
You can install a pdf printer driver like FreePDF or PDFcreator and can create pdf-documents from any Office-App and more. It's on Ghostscript base.

The idea for my programme is as follows:

1, The user would input some data
2, The programme would pass the data to excel and excel would have some calculations
3, A pdf with the calculation results will be produced

Since the programme will be distributed to other users, it would have to work on computers without the "pdf producer" I am using.

Any idea on which "pdf producer" to employ?

Hi Olivia!

For "1" you can create a simple, small app.
For "2" your app can create a small excel sheet and then calling excel.
For "3" ... again: A pdf-printer-driver is the best in this case. You're already in excel this moment - so why not call a macro to start the pdf-printer-driver?
