Can I create a PDF with higher resolution than the 0.72 point? If yes, how?

Hi Olaf,

what exactly do you want to ask?
A point is a point and a meter is a meter...
you can set a higher dpi-value which will lead to larger pages.
Please read here about the basics:

Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo

Hi Ingo,
thanks for that link. So what I really wanted to ask is how can I increase/change the DPI when creating a new PDF document?

Hi Ingo,
I am using QuickPDF 13 in our software to create PDFs. We also put logo (bmp) on the PDF. A customer would like to increase his logo quality (resolution). So my thought was a picture with 100x100px will use the same paper space on a 100 DPI PDF as a 200x200px on a 200 DPI PDF. But I couldn't find a function to set the DPI for a document. Maybe I am looking at it from the wrong side, that's why I am asking.

Just be concerned about increasing the resolution of the images, and then scale the images to fit in the space you want on the page.  But do not increase the image resolution too much because you will always be limited by the resolution of the screen or printer on which you view the PDF.  Do not worry about the 'resolution' of text or line drawing on the page because that will take care of itself: it just needs the page size and the font size and the line thickness.
