As far as I know there was used VisulC instead Delphi as a development environment by Debenu Team.
But I can be wrong.

I'll try the one without the 'CP' in it. Except that I can't because the free trial key in the package I downloaded today expired 9th December 2015 -- three years ago!

Probably a stupid question for a first post, but here goes.   Since the software supports Python, shouldn't there be a Python import file for it?

There isn't one, at least as far as I can find (in the Windows version, anyway, which is what I am interested in).

Hi Steltek,

you can read that it's not necessary...

Here you can read about a simple sample:
http://www.quickpdf.org/forum/python-example_topic1265.html

Here you can read about the Python-support:
https://www.debenu.com/blog/quick-pdf-library-16.html

Cheers and welcome here,
Ingo

i think it's all allowed what's written on the product page and all things which aren't explicit forbidden. It's easy... ;-)

Ingo

Hi guys,

Michal is right about the CPDLL, it's the Visual C++ based library we've packaged into a DLL in version 16. We wrote an article about it:

https://developers.foxitsoftware.com/kb/article/difference-dll-cpdll/

Thanks for the replies there Michal and Ingo!

Cheers,

Albano

The latest release, 16.12, says it has support for Delphi 10.3 RIO.
https://www.debenu.com/products/development/debenu-pdf-library/updates/

However, the licensed download has no ZIP files for the RIO version. Will this be rectified soon?

Thanks

Graeme

There is indeed an exe download with 1612 in its name (as I speculatively discovered after reading your message), but its content and size is identical to the one I downloaded last September with 1611 in its name.  And so if you run it, it announces that it is really 16.11. This may explain why there are no download links for 16.12 yet, on the page you reference.  But thanks for pointing out that 16.12 is at least announced; I have not received the usual e-mail.  Maybe someone from Foxit will sort things out.

My boss has also written to them directly (before Christmas) but so far no response.

Hello,

Not sure if this issue is still ongoing, but the 10.3 Rio links are available in the 16.12 package Delphi folder.

Standard folder location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Debenu\PDF Library 16\Delphi\DebenuPDFLibrary1612Delphi10.3RioWin32

Could you try again and let me know if you can still replicate this issue?

Cheers,

Albano

I downloaded 1613 for Windows but I cannot find the trial licence key.  There was no setup or exe and the the TRIAL_LICENCE txt file was nowhere to be found in the zip file the download link took me to.  How do I get a licence key so I can try this out?

Does not exist.  As I said there was not setup file in the download, only a zip.  Thus no way it could have been put in program files(x86).  Any other thoughts?

I also tried using the ..CP...DLL but the imports (.h and .pp) are only for the version without the CP.  Those imports try to load a function that does not exist in the CP version of the DLL and thus the DLL does not load.
