I am testing a distribution and I get the above message. The dll is in the same location as on the development machine. Do I need to register the dll on each target machine or download QuickPDF every time ? |

If you're using the ActiveX edition, rather than the DLL edition, then you will need to register the ActiveX DLL on each target machine using regsvr32.
* ActiveX edition includes AX in the file name (QuickPDFAX0813.dll) * DLL edition includes DLL in the file name (QuickPDFDLL0813.dll)

Start a Command Prompt. On Vista/Win 7 you need to use 'Run As Administrator' Change to the directory where the QuickPDFAX08xx.DLL file is located. regsvr32 QuickPDFAX08xx.DLL A message box should pop up stating that the Registration of the DLL has succeeded. |
