I would like to open an existing PDF, draw text onto it and then save the changed PDF as a new file.  What functions should I be looking into for this?

Is it as simple as:

LoadFromFile PDF
DrawText (xpos,ypos,text)
DrawText (xpos,ypos,text)
DrawText (xpos,ypos,text)
DrawText (xpos,ypos,text)
DrawText (xpos,ypos,text)
DrawText (xpos,ypos,text)
SaveToFile NewPDF

Or do I have to look at layers?  The original PDF is a form (not a PDF form, just a normal form) and I'm trying to retain the form's appearance while only adding text to fill it in.
