Hi,

what pdf-reader you're using to load and show the modified pdf.
Which was the original product for pdf-creation?
I think you know that it's not advisable to change form fields of a pdf form made by Adobe products?
InDesign and other Adobe products insert some functionabilities which make it easy for the Adobe reader to check, if there's something modified by an unauthorized third party tool...

with the new version 16.11

if we try to modify the properties of a form field on an existing pdf file it happens that:
modified form fields are not visible with the highlight option
