Hi Ingo,
I know this is an user to user forum, I'm asking if anyone else is complaining for this issue.
I'm using GetPageText and so the extraction options seems to be valid; this rules was working on 10.x version.

I find it strange that this documented options does not work for a long time (one year) and anyone noticed it.

here's the user-user-forum - not the official Debenu-pages.
So your issues will be unanswered here, too.
Perhpas you didn't read the documentation about the function not carefully enough?
It only works with special extract functions and not in all cases:

Hello,
I ask here for two regression bugs signaled lot of time ago (may 2015) regarding text extraction.
- Vertical extraction text exclusion is no more honored, vertical text is always extracted.
- Trimming text outside selected does not works on vertical text, text is extracted only if text block starts inside selected area, and text is not trimmed if it falls outside the area.

New version 13 is bugged too.

No one have problem using this extraction options?

I asked for news to Tech Support lot of times but lately, no one reply to me.
