If you wanna do something with layers you should read about contentstreams and -groups:

Hi Guizhi,

i don't know if i understand your strange question right.

First: You can't use "the C++ DLL" to extract the path of a pdf-document.

If you're a developer and if you're using C++ then you can use this syntax for path extraction on any file:

Hi Niegu!

in Delphi/Pascal you can do it this way:

targetpath := ExtractFilePath(targetpath_and_file);

BTW: You can do it with any other filetype, too ;-)
