I need to print some PDF files to dot matrix printers and am having some trouble.

I am printing to the wide carriage green and white striped paper for testing purposes.  The problem is that when the printing starts, it does not start at the print head, but instead the printer rolls up, prints the page, then rolls up some more before starting to print the second page.  My testing is on standard paper, but the output is on a form and because of the extra line feeds, data on pages after the first does not print in the correct location.

I am about to start work converting some other things that print on a custom page size, approximately 44 lines (around 500 points tall) and I'm afraid I'm going to run into the same problem.  Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this printing done?  I have thought about changing the size of all the media boxes to the same size of the page, but I'm not sure if this will work or not.
